This part of the book has turned out to be a twist in the story, it turns out to be that Mr. Curtain is truly Mr. Benedict's twin brother. This piece of information shook up the children and led them to believe that Mr. Benedict set up the children and brought them to this school as new recruits for Mr. Curtain. The only one to say that it is not true is Reynie, he knew from the beginning that Mr. Benedict could be trusted and that he was actually the only one that they could trust. Yet even though Reynie knows that Mr. Benedict speaks only the truth and that he will never let them down, the rest of the team doesn't buy it and begins to doubt their decision of ever joining the team and begin to wonder if Mr. Benedict is even trust worthy.

Worse yet, Sticky got caught helping Constance during a test and when you get caught cheating on a test in this school, you don't get a zero on the test and you're all good, you have to go to the waiting room, the worst, most horrible room in all of the school where it is said that students go to be well educated and punished for what they did in class. Another thing that puts the real fear on Sticky is that everyone says that whosoever goes into the waiting room because the cheated, never come out of there the same way that they went in.

My book is getting more and more interesting, I decided to read the sequel to my summer reading book and the suspense has mounted upon more and more suspense and now I can't wait to flip to the next page of the book because I want to find out what happens to the children, right now they have just infiltrated the school that is run by the evil Mr. Curtain and are waiting for further instructions from Mr. Benedict.
Also, Reynie met a sea captain while aboard the ship on the way to the school and Reynie had helped the captain solve a big problem, the captain had a chest full of diamonds and to protect the diamonds he had another chest of fake diamonds made of plastic. During a big storm, both of the chests opened and all the diamonds got mixed up and the captain didn't know how to know which ones were the real ones and which ones were the fake ones. Thankfully, Reynie knew what to do, he told the captain to dump all the diamond into a tub full of water and the ones that float are the plastic ones and the ones that sink are the real ones. To show Reynie his gratitude, the captain gives Reynie one of the fake diamonds as a souvenir, which would come in handy later.
They are currently being taught random things in classes that are meant for children at a much higher level than them. They are also being taught to live but the children know that something isn't right and that what they are really teaching the is to be evil, for it is live backwards. So far none of the children have had their will broken, but how long is it going to be until something happens to one of them?
